My absolute favorite silent film. Influenced such great directors as Orson Welles and Tim Burton. If you get the dvd version it includes some of bursts of color and the cards are original with spirals and decoration. Directed by Robert Wiene. A perfect example of the beginning of German Expressionism in film.
